Cinder-ella

Originally a commission for someone. (However, their account was sadly deleted, but they have now found me again. :3) They asked for a picture of my feet to practice drawing them (unless they had a fetish) so I complied because I’m kind and curious.

After they deleted it, I tried to think of something I could use the photograph for, and ta-da.

Such beauty, the perfect girl on the inside and out. Her hands, so delicate and soft in his; her eyes so deep and innocent. He saw no flaw in her until she removed her shoes to walk in the dewy grass. After the first had slipped off and he caught a glimpse of the soles and pads of her feet, he saw devastating scars and burn marks. He was afraid to allow her to walk on bare ground with such fragile feet, but she held his hand with a soft smile. “I know they may look bad, but my burns and scars are just little reminders of the great feats I’ve overcome and the accomplishments I’ve made.” She slowly stepped into the chill grass and sighed. “And walking in the cold morning grass is just a little reward to myself for getting this far.” He smiled and stepped next to her and replied, “My strong little Cinderella, aren’t you?”
